iOS 5 for iPad

Apple showcased the revamped iOS 5 version at the WWDC conference last week which brings new iPad features such as notification center, iMessage, iCloud, improved browser and many more. During the keynote address, Scott Forstall announced that iOS 5 brings 1500 new APIs and over 200 new features. But, only10 changes were highlighted.

 iPhone to iPad Migration

Facebook has launched a fully revamped Facebook Questions, where the user can ask questions and share it with their friends. Facebook users can ask a question by clicking the "Ask Question" button at the top of the homepage, or ask questions about friends from their profile page. Users can also add photo or poll to questions. The user's friends are found to be the most likely source of information or advice in a social network and they can also answer to user's questions. Facebook users can concur with an answer by checking a box, or include a different response in the comments section.  All answers to Facebook Questions are shown on the question's page.

Apple is expected to release iOS 4.3.1 software update within the next two weeks that will address minor bug fixes and iPad 2 jailbreaking vulnerabilities including the baseband updates for the original iPad and iPhone 3GS, according to BGR. There are still battery issues reported with iOS 4.3 which has been solved by iPhone developers in the the upcoming update v iOS 4.3.1.

The Windows Phone 7 Marketplace has issued a notification that the Facebook app has been updated to version 1.2 to fix some crashing issues. Facebook users experienced random crashing issues with the official Windows Phone 7 application and could not access the application. The latest update has addressed the crashing some users had experienced earlier in Windows Phone 7 development. Windows Phone 7 users can hit the Marketplace search on their phone and access the Facebook app to update to the new version. Facebook developer made a series of changes to its platform for applications and business pages last month including support for HTML IFrames.
