WordPress for BlackBerry 1.4 just released with improved features

WordPress has released its new version 1.4 for BlackBerry smartphones, with add-on features and bug fixes. This new release requires BlackBerry OS 4.5 or higher version and can get the update through BlackBerry App World

• Login process made easy
• More support for HTTP authentication on password-protected self-hosted blogs
• Capabilities of the app enhanced for bug reports and feedback
• File browser retains memory of latest folder used

Bug fixes:

• Issue when changing the properties of a picture attached to a post
• Startup issue on the splash screen causing the app freezing
• Issue on the Stats view when a post title contains more double quote characters

WordPress v1.3 features include loading/editing comments, setting video-size using VideoPress service, toolbar for formatting, new word count, bug reports and feedback, improvement in stats handling, improved photo resizing and a better jpeg encoder.
