Five Facebook applications that makes Facebook proud

These applications are major success and widely popular even before having their presence in facebook. Credit to its Facebook developers who have done an amazing job of building these apps.   Just a five for now. 

YouTube Videos

This application allows you to watch videos from YouTube. You can search for YouTube videos from your Facebook account. You can change the themes and color or skins of the widget. You have drag and drop functionality which allows you to drag a video and drop it into your start page or slide show, thereby creating a video collage. Below is the   screen shot of the application.

 
Skype Me:

Skype is one of the easiest ways to communicate with friends on Facebook. Once you have created your Skype account, you can synchronize it with the Facebook account. With this application you can make calls to friends similar to the way you make calls with the traditional Skype application. The calls made by you will be within the Facebook thereby not having to leave Facebook.

 

 My Flickr

My Flickr bridges a connection between Flickr application and Facebook. With this application you can display the photos of your Flickr account to your friends on Facebook and allow them to add comment without having to leave Facebook. You have different  privacy settings on Flickr and by default this application would work only if you have a Flickr account.

 
 
     
Slide Share

Slide Share is one of the biggest community for sharing presentations, documents and PDFs. Using this application on Facebook, you can synchronize the SlideShare account with Facebook. You can also upload, share presentations, documents etc with Facebook friends. You can upload it anywhere, either on Slideshare or Facebook, and you would be able to see the slides on both the accounts. The same is synchronized with your Linkedin account. ZimRide

ZimRide is an application which finds friends going in the same direction using Facebook. There are many benefits such as lower fuel costs and reduced emissions.

Once you have added this application to your Facebook account, you need to enter the starting place and the destination. Fix the rate that you would be costing them or paying them along with the timings and the days of travel, you are ready to go. If anyone in your vicinity uses this application, they would be able to Zimride with you.
