I am a big fan of travel-related apps for iPhone. At last count, I had 12 travel apps on my iPod Touch. I’m not a hard-core road warrior anymore, but if I were, I’d definitely shell out $4.99 for the new eSkyGuide app developed by American Express’s Executive Travel magazine and Goldenware Travel Technologies

When looking at business travelers, immediacy of information while travel is critical, said Libert. “As technology evolved and the iPhone changed the way we get content, we knew we had to be in the iPhone space, and Goldenware delivered that product for us,” she said. Goldenware does mobile apps for airlines in the United States and Europe, said Veevers-Carter. “So we knew what functionalities are used by travelers. That’s how we developed our list of apps,” he recalled.
